Injury Diagnosis

The cavernous nerves allow penile erections. There are two nerves, one on each side of the prostate gland, and injury to one or both during prostate surgery will often result in erectile dysfunction.

Repair of the injury has been developed using a transplanted nerve from the patient's own body. We are the only surgeons in the world to successfully repair cavernous nerve injuries and recover erectile function sufficient for intercourse.
